Databases at the Library

The following databases are available at the library and in the comfort of your own home (using your 14 digit patron bar code number)! The databases are provided to us through the NH State Library.

Genealogical Databases: Heritage Quest database.  For those of you who miss Ancestry.com you might want to try www.familysearch.org which includes the 1850 census.

Ebsco: Includes databases on a variety of subjects and includes magazines.  Want to read a review from Consumer Reports?  You will find it here!

NewsBank: Access the Union Leader, NH Sunday News, Concord Monitor and 27 of America's news magazines - from Baby Talk to US News and World Report.

Primary Source Database

Stories and images from historical primary sources

Please feel free to come into the library for a demonstration of how these data bases work or to use our computers for your search.  Explore these rich resources for articles and other research.
